The four sitting commissioners: Parrish, Hatchett, Brower, and Kearns, recruited Happy Spivey to run for mayor again. Together, the five of them violated state ethics rules and open meetings laws to silence a duly elected and sworn commissioner. I refused to be a part of their corrupt games and resigned. Look at the mess they've made. Can we fix it? No, not with this bunch of small-minded, short-sighted people standing in the way. Our government is broken, our leaders corrupt and incompetent.
